Mitzi Hartman, Trucking Safety Expert

Mitzi Hartman, Trucking Safety Expert with DJS Associates, is a driving force behind the Illinois Trucking Foundation’s Teens, Trucks, & Traffic event.  This event is designed to reinforce and expand on traffic safety concepts taught in driver’s education classes.  Hands-on experiences led by transportation industry leaders, the Illinois State Police, and local EMS personnel will simulate blind spots, routine traffic stops, and the consequences of impaired or distracted driving.

Approximately 700 students from 15 local area high schools are expected to attend the 6^th annual Teens, Trucks, & Traffic event from April 30^th to May 2^nd in Decatur, Illinois.
