Biography

Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in Digital Forensics, with a minor in Information and Technology Management, from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.  Shortly after graduating, he joined DJS Associates, Inc. as an intern, working closely with the Automotive Engineering and Collision Reconstruction Departments to research, test, and analyze data connections between telecommunication systems and vehicle infotainment platforms.  In 2019, Tim joined DJS full-time as a Mobile Forensic Analyst and consultant.  Through continued training and advanced certifications in digital evidence acquisition and analysis across an expanding range of devices and data sources, he advanced to the role of Digital Forensic Analyst within the firm’s newly established Transportation, Mechanical, and Digital Forensics Department.

As a Digital Forensic Analyst, Tim secures, acquires, and analyzes digital evidence from mobile phones, computers, dash cameras, surveillance systems, smartwatches, cloud platforms, social media accounts, and other electronic sources for clients in the municipal, legal, and insurance industries.  His responsibilities include reviewing case materials, preserving and extracting digital evidence, maintaining secure evidence storage, and preparing comprehensive documentation, including chain of custody records, consent forms, and evidence release documentation.

Tim is certified by Cellebrite as an Operator, Physical Analyst, Cloud Data Examiner, Evidence Repair Technician, and Advanced Smartphone Analyst, enabling him to conduct comprehensive forensic examinations using industry-leading methodologies and tools.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys exploring record stores in search of new additions to his vinyl collection.  He and his friends regularly visit local breweries while continuing their quest to find the region’s best cheesesteaks and chicken wings.  Tim and his wife also enjoy spending weekends at Peddler’s Village, taking in its seasonal events and monthly festivities.  A lesser-known fact about Tim is that he earned a second-degree black belt in karate.
