Tim earned his degree in Digital Forensics, with a minor in Information and Technology Management, from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. As Digital Forensic Analyst, Tim handles securing, imaging, and analyzing a broad range of digital devices and data sources—such as cell phones, computers, dash cams, surveillance cameras, smartwatches, cloud platforms, and social media—for the municipal, legal, and insurance industries. His services include the review and analysis of digital evidence casefile materials; securing, extracting, and storing of digital data evidence; and creating, finalizing, maintaining, and executing formal documentation, including chain of custody, consent, and release forms.
Tim is trained and certified as an Operator, Physical Analyst, Cloud Data Examiner, Evidence Repair Technician and Advanced Smartphone Analyst by Cellebrite. He works closely with the Automotive Engineering and Collision Reconstruction Departments to research, test, and analyze the connection of data from telecommunication systems to automobiles and their infotainment systems.
On the weekends, Tim enjoys venturing out to record stores to add new vinyls to his collection. He occasionally seeks out new breweries with friends while also searching for the best cheesesteaks and/or wings. Tim and his fiancée enjoy trips to Peddler’s Village to take part in their monthly festivities. A little-known fact about Tim is that he earned his second-degree black belt in karate.
