Biography

Emily joined DJS Associates, Inc. in 2021 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer.  She brings more than 18 years of experience in Human Resources and operational leadership, with a strong focus on building scalable systems that support people, performance, and long-term growth.

As COO, Emily oversees the firm’s internal operations and organizational infrastructure.  She partners closely with the Human Resources Manager on people-related deliverables, works with the Operations Manager on day-to-day operations, IT systems, and vendor management, and collaborates with the firm’s Principal Engineers to support team execution, development, and operational consistency.  Emily works closely with the CEO, President, and Chief Services Officer to translate strategic priorities into clear operational plans, strengthen leadership cadence, and ensure teams, workflows, and resources are aligned across the organization.

Emily is known for her people-first and systems-focused mindset, balancing thoughtful leadership with operational clarity to support collaboration, accountability, and sustainable scale.

Outside of work, Emily adores spending time with family and friends, especially planning trips throughout the year.  She enjoys all things music and loves creating playlists for people.  As many at DJS know well, her pup runs the household and demands constant attention, so much of Emily’s time outside the office is spent entertaining Ellie, the informal DJS mascot.
