Biography

Jim’s meticulous examination of collisions caught by video, be it surveillance, dash cam, or cellphone, made him known in the office and by some clients as “Captain Video.”  Jim’s eye for detail is second to none, while performing analyses in support of the testifying engineer.  He utilizes state-of-the-art computer technology to analyze physical evidence shown in photographs and to simulate pre-impact, impact, and post-impact vehicle dynamics.  Event data is invaluable to the analyses that Jim performs.

Jim is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.  Jim grew up in Baltimore City, went to college at the University of Maryland, and moved to MontCo right after that.  He loves watching and rooting for the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, the Maryland men’s basketball team, and of course the Phillies and the Eagles.  He loves pizza, soft pretzels, and vacations of leisure at the beach and on cruise ships.
