DJS Golf Champion

For the second year in a row DJS Associates is proud to announce our “NIL” sponsorship of Patrick Sheehan, who recently graduated from Penn State University.  Patrick will play out his final year of NCAA eligibility at Penn State in the fall while earning his MBA.  While Patrick will be the first to tell you that his senior season at Penn State was a disappointment, he will also tell you that there is nothing that hard work and dedication cannot overcome.  Patrick proved that earlier this month when he lapped the field in the US Amateur Qualifying tournament at Union League Torresdale, finishing his 36-holes qualifying at 7 under par, three strokes better than his nearest competitor.  In the immortal words of Steve Schorr, Patrick is a “man amongst boys,” shooting even par in his opening round and then firing a 63, the low round of the tournament and nearly a course record.  This will be Patrick’s third consecutive year playing in the US Amateur.  The only thing more remarkable than Patrick’s golf game is the humble yet confident way in which he carries himself.  We at DJS could not ask for a better ambassador, and we are very proud of all of Patrick’s accomplishments on and off the golf course.

“Good luck Patrick – I am looking forward to playing our practice round at Augusta next year!” -JPS
