Aquatic Safety Experts Respond to Rise in Drowning Deaths

A Vital Signs report released in May 2024 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reveals a concerning increase of drowning deaths in the United States for the first time in decades.  Dr. Tom Griffiths and Dr. Rachel Griffiths, Aquatic Safety Experts with DJS Associates, responded to the CDC report with an opinion piece suggesting the need for additional drowning prevention strategies.
