Delaware Valley Chapter of IASIU Presentation

DJS Associates, Inc.’s Principal Collision Reconstruction Engineer, Robert T. Lynch, P.E., will speak at the Delaware Valley IASIU Chapter’s September meeting.  His topic, “Low Speed, High Stakes: Reconstructing ‘Fender-Benders,’” will delve into the science of low-speed impacts, with a focus on rear-end collisions, sideswipes, and hard-braking events.

Using real-world case studies, physical evidence, and reconstruction principles, this session will examine vehicle dynamics, occupant considerations, and the challenges of distinguishing recollections from reality. Attendees will gain practical insight into how engineers evaluate low-speed impacts, what the evidence can and cannot establish, and how these findings inform liability and damages in both litigation and claims handling.
